The film was filmed in Brixton in South London using cameras amd was also edited. The cameras where a lower budget than other dependant films.
The planning and idea of the film came from a true story in which a boy was set up and killed by the girl he loved. The film was created to give people an understand of what happened and why this is wrong. The diector looked for someone who had experience with life in London and insight on gang life for her cast and crew.
the prodcution budget was just under £1 million. The team also tried to raise moeny and was given £20k grant from the Walcot Foundation.
Other producers in the film where Sarah Sulick and Amy Ricker who have worked in the film industry previously. The executive producer was Laurie Holden.
