This film is an independent film so the film didn't have many companies to distribute to. The film was given money by other companies in order to be able to create the film.
The main and only distributuion team or company in the film is Ancor bay. Ancor bay have also made film or tv dramas such a deep red, three's company, the card player, the walking dead, etc.
The director used local London actors who where around the same age as the target audience which helps sell the product to comapanies as this will help create more realism to the film and story.
The more real and believeable you make a film the more likely companies will want to distribute your film. Also using rural areas in London will help appeal to larget target audiences helping a larger probability of distributuion.

The film was created to give people an understand of what happened and why this is wrong. The diector looked for someone who had experience with life in London and insight on gang life for her cast and crew.
the prodcution budget was just under £1 million. The team also tried to raise moeny and was given £20k grant from the Walcot Foundation.

Other producers in the film where Sarah Sulick and Amy Ricker who have worked in the film industry previously. The executive producer was Laurie Holden.
